That was quite that transformation! This is shift knob porn, so it should be NSFW.

now you have to get driving gloves, as to not get your dirty booger hook prints all over it.

'dirty booger hook' ... hehehe... That's a new one... I'll file that one away for future use at an inappropriate time...

I have had enough practice. . .

I feel like this conversation has taken a turn for the worst.

How long did that take you to do? That looks like it took a lot of rubbing. I usually give up after 20 minutes or so.

beginning to end, about an hour of futzing about. I redid the painting about 4 times as I perfected my technique. So in reality it took an afternoon, just rubbed away whilst watching TV

Sweeeet.

I usually avoid penis related posts.

Some questions.

1. How does shifting feel now? Does the knob make a difference?

2. waht is this going on?

3. nice work

4. uhhhh...

5. Do you know the answer to #5? I forgot.

An hour isn't bad at all. I was just remembering one time that I tried using metal polish on some really used and abused wheels, I didn't even get through one after a full day so I just said forget it.

#1 shifting feel is greatly improved, and my 0-60 time has dropped by 8 tenth of second.

In reality though, my main driver was to remove the feel of several nicks that were not particularly visible, and a burr on the bottom edge. So, much smoother (shaved knob joke in there somewhere)

#2 you wanna get high? - towlie

#3 no YOU are nice work

#4 ummm

#5 42

Nicely done! The red and black came out great. Now we need a shot of it installed with the shift boot.
